สำนักงานสถิติแห่งชาติได้ดำเนินการประมวลผลข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับ "กำลังแรงงานดิจิทัล" (Digital Workforce) ซึ่งหมายถึงประชากรอายุ 15 ปีขึ้นไปที่อยู่ในกำลังแรงงาน โดยแบ่งออกเป็น 4 กลุ่ม ได้แก่ ผู้ที่มีงานทำในสายอาชีพด้านดิจิทัล ผู้ที่มีงานทำในอาชีพอื่นแต่จบการศึกษาด้านดิจิทัล ผู้ว่างงานที่จบการศึกษาด้านดิจิทัล ผู้ว่างงานที่ไม่ได้จบด้านดิจิทัลแต่เคยทำงานในสายดิจิทัล ข้อมูลดังกล่าวได้มาจากโครงการสำรวจภาวะการทำงานของประชากร (สรง.) เพื่อใช้ประโยชน์ในการวางแผนนโยบายและพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์ด้านดิจิทัลต่อไป
